[Dad's at Work]

I don't care how popular it is

It's a lame, one note flash that hurts my eyes just to look at it.

Here is my attempt at constructive criticism: the joke shouldn't be that he just is destroying everything, because that gets old after ten seconds. The joke should be how people react to it. Everyone reacts pretty much the same way here: stunned disbelief. How bout mixing it up by, for example, having another guy trying to fix things, but doing a weak job. Or having an accountant or someone engage him in a fight where they use office equipment. Okay, my ideas are shit, I admit, but you know what I mean, and I've only had thirty seconds to think about them.

That's my review, take it or leave it.

[Never Woke Up]

Utterly Perfect

The good music, the graphics, the use of shadow, the suspense, the showing of JUST enough that you get curious as hell without any easy answers being provided, it's all at least good for a 9. But the thing that pushed it into a 10 was the sound of that iron lung that played under it, revealing but not stating it is a girl in a coma. Just imagine spending years in a nightmare!

God, I work with five guys who look like that guy (the bearded one) and they all have that same attitude around me. Really taps into something real, this flash.

Kinda Cold

As well made as this is, it kinda leaves me empty. As Nick Park put it, action scenes should be about character, not hardware. Not saying you needed to show, like, little romantic subplots or such but maybe a few more character scenes could be included in exchange for ships shooting at each other.

Not since I fell for that "Ghost Footage" prank

Has a video gotten such a shock out of me. Especially impressive considering that, on repeat viewings, the monster is kinda cute.

Incredibly underappreciated

Why in God's name is that self-important "Hero's of Cybertron" rated than this much more clever and interesting flash? It just makes me mad.

Serious Treatment of Transformers?

I admit this was well animated and there were good drawings, but I just cannot see anyone enjoying Transformers on any level beyond camp. I mean, even in this one minute cartoon, you see how ridiculous it is that Megatron turns into a gun, or how Prime can just rip a gun off him and use it to blast him, and yet it's supposed to be dramatic. Maybe it was all tongue in cheek and I just like slapstick too much to appreciate it properly, but a more lighthearted approach would be appreciated for any potential follow up.
